On April 2, 2026, the international geological forum Geoscience & Exploration Central Asia 2026 officially launched in the city of Astana, establishing a new regional platform for professional dialogue in the field of geology.
The event brings together delegations from Central Asian countries. In particular, the Kyrgyz side is represented by specialists from the Kyrgyz Geological Service and the state enterprise “Kyrgyzgeology” under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The forum is aimed at facilitating knowledge exchange and developing coordinated approaches to the rational and sustainable use of subsoil resources.
It is noted that Central Asian countries possess significant mineral resource potential, which plays a key role in economic development and ensuring regional energy security.
The forum serves as a platform for representatives of government bodies, профильных organizations, and experts to discuss key issues related to geological exploration, sustainable resource development, and the expansion of regional cooperation.
