Coordination and organization of activities within the Interregional Group is carried out by the IRG Bureau.
The IRG consists of two representatives from each participating country, it is open to accession by States and International Organizations as full participants or observers.
Representatives of countries in the IRG Bureau are appointed by the UNCCD National Focal Points. Representatives of international organizations are appointed by relevant institutions.
