July 18, 2025 — The Aral Sea National Nature Park in Uzbekistan is showing a steady increase in wildlife populations. According to the Ministry of Ecology, the park is currently home to 116 bird species, 17 mammal species, and 15 reptile species.
Experts attribute this growth to regular environmental monitoring, habitat protection, and biotechnical measures such as installing feeders, building shelters, and providing water access during winter. These actions support natural reproduction and population stability.
The Aral Sea Park plays a vital role in biodiversity conservation and is one of the key protected areas in the region.
