From August 19 to 21, Minsk is hosting the 3rd International Specialized Exhibition Ecology Expo 2025, bringing together over 180 exhibitors from Belarus and abroad. The event features companies and delegations from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, China, and Brazil under the motto: “Green Innovations for a Sustainable Future.”
The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus and the National Exhibition Center “BelExpo.”
Uzbekistan is represented by the delegation of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change. The exhibition highlights cutting-edge developments in renewable energy, waste recycling, forest conservation, water resource management, sustainable agriculture, eco-tourism, and green construction. Special attention is given to digital environmental monitoring technologies and solutions aimed at reducing carbon emissions.
During the event, the Uzbek delegation held talks with Belarusian Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Sergey Maslyak, discussing prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of environmental protection and eco-innovation. A meeting also took place with Viacheslav Fetisov, Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Commission on Sports and Olympic Movement Development, where the importance of engaging public and sports figures in promoting environmental initiatives was emphasized. Additionally, negotiations were conducted with recycling companies, forestry enterprises, and other eco-industry stakeholders.
Uzbekistan’s participation in Ecology Expo 2025 reaffirmed the country’s commitment to advancing the global environmental agenda, strengthening international partnerships, and implementing innovative “green” solutions. It also drew attention to pressing regional challenges, particularly in Karakalpakstan and the Aral Sea area, underlining Uzbekistan’s comprehensive approach to sustainable development.
