The Kyrgyz Republic continues implementing the national environmental campaign “Jashyl Muras”, aimed at restoring forest ecosystems, improving environmental conditions, and expanding green areas across the country.

According to official information, 3,820,663 tree seedlings have already been planted during the current phase of the campaign. The planting activities are being carried out across a total area of 3,250.648 hectares, while timely irrigation and protection of the planted seedlings are being ensured to support their growth and survival.

The large-scale greening initiative is implemented with the participation of government institutions, local communities, and environmental stakeholders.

Overall, a total of 8,239,915 tree seedlings were planted across the republic in 2025, making a significant contribution to forest restoration and environmental sustainability efforts.

The campaign includes the planting of various tree species adapted to local climatic conditions, including poplar, elm, birch, oak, walnut, pistachio, almond, apple, apricot, Tian Shan spruce, pine, juniper, mulberry, and other species.

In 2025, tree planting activities covered a total area of 6,420 hectares, while the average survival rate of planted seedlings reached 74.5%, indicating the effectiveness of monitoring and maintenance measures.

Looking ahead, the initiative will continue to expand. In 2026, Kyrgyzstan plans to plant around 9 million tree seedlings nationwide, further contributing to ecosystem restoration and environmental resilience.
