Uzbekistan continues to advance the digital transformation of its agricultural sector, with a strong focus on practical implementation and farmer engagement. Across the country, hands-on outreach activities are being conducted to explain newly introduced digital tools and to directly assess the challenges faced by land users in their daily operations.

In line with the presidential decrees and resolutions, a series of regional training seminars has been launched nationwide. These initiatives aim to accelerate the adoption of digital governance in agriculture and to enhance the performance of farmers and agro-clusters through modern information systems.

The seminars are led by Deputy Minister of Agriculture responsible for digitalization, Kakhramon Yuldashev, and are held in the format of open discussions. During the meetings, participants reviewed the outcomes of recent reforms and discussed concrete objectives planned for implementation in 2026.

A central focus of the sessions was the practical application of digital information platforms. Farmers received detailed guidance on:

  • using the “E-urug‘” system for seed production activities and participation in competitive selection processes;

  • submitting data on potato cultivation and greenhouse production via the Agroportal;

  • conducting real-time crop monitoring through geospatial platforms;

  • accessing government support mechanisms through the “Agrosubsidiya” system.

The seminars, enriched with real-world examples and interactive Q&A sessions, were met with strong interest from participants and received positive feedback. The continued rollout of these training programs across the regions demonstrates the tangible impact of digitalization efforts at the local level.

The training seminars will continue through 16 January, inclusive.
