Almaty Hosts International Conference for the 80th Anniversary of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry

An international conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the O.O. Ospanov Kazakh Research Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry brought together more than 140 scientists from Kazakhstan and abroad. A total of 45 presentations were delivered, addressing climate change, soil fertility, land reclamation, soil ecology, and digitalization in agriculture.

The event featured leading researchers from Germany, the USA, China, Azerbaijan, Russia, and Kazakhstan. Participants emphasized that soil conservation and sustainable land management are essential for food security and agroecosystem resilience.

The conference was highly praised for the depth of its discussions and became an important step in strengthening international scientific cooperation.
