Workshop “Integrating Human Mobility into Kazakhstan’s National Adaptation Plan”
On 21–22 October 2025, a workshop on “Integrating Human Mobility into Kazakhstan’s National Adaptation Plan” was held in Astana, organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The workshop aimed to raise awareness and foster a common understanding of the interlinkages between climate change and human mobility, as well as to discuss practical approaches to integrating these aspects into the National Adaptation Plan.
During the event, participants were introduced to international practices and tools used in the development of similar adaptation plans.
