July 30–31, 2025 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov paid an official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic. The delegation of Uzbekistan was received by President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, to whom sincere greetings were conveyed from President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. During the talks, it was emphasized that the Uzbek-Kyrgyz strategic partnership has reached an unprecedented level, with no unresolved issues and showing dynamic progress across all key areas — from economic cooperation to humanitarian exchange.
Special attention was given to the need for synchronizing efforts in the field of regional integration and sustainable development. As a result of the visit, two key documents were signed: the Joint Action Plan for the preparation of the State Visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan, and the Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries for 2025–2026.
