Attention was also given to forest conservation and restoration, which help regulate the water balance and prevent soil erosion. The governor stressed the need to establish accountability for the condition of forest belts and implement modern stormwater management systems in settlements.

The meeting also addressed challenges related to rapid economic growth, proposing measures for sustainable development and environmental wellbeing, including urban initiatives for emissions reduction and waste recycling, as well as enhancing environmental awareness among citizens.
