At the CACCC-2025 conference held in Ashgabat, Tajikistan reaffirmed its active engagement in regional climate and water initiatives, and extended an official invitation to attend the upcoming International Conference on Glacier Preservation, which will take place in Dushanbe from May 29 to 31.
Loik Rahmonzoda, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, highlighted the country’s efforts in adapting to climate change and mainstreaming environmental priorities into key economic sectors. Special emphasis was placed on the development of institutional mechanisms to ensure the integration of climate approaches into state policy and sustainable development planning.
Tajikistan’s participation in CACCC-2025 underscores the importance of regional cooperation in addressing shared climate challenges.
