Seminar on Revitalizing Rural Areas for Central Asian Countries Begins in Beijing
On July 9, a seminar on revitalizing rural areas for five Central Asian countries kicked off in Beijing and will run until July 18, 2025. The event brings together delegations from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
Turkmenistan is represented by specialists from the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Land Resources Service of the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Water Management Committee, as well as faculty members and experts from the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and the Turkmen Agricultural Institute.
The seminar aims to promote knowledge exchange, strengthen regional cooperation, and support the development of sustainable rural development approaches, including water and land resource management, productivity enhancement, and improvement of quality of life in rural areas.
