As part of the Regional Environmental Summit, the sixth meeting of the Regional Working Group (RWG) on the implementation of the Regional Climate Change Adaptation Strategy in Central Asia was held. The work is carried out under the “Green Central Asia” initiative (GIZ).
The meeting brought together representatives of профиль government authorities from all five Central Asian countries, as well as international partners.
During the session, participants reviewed the progress in implementing the Strategy, including the work of the Interim Secretariat of the RWG and the draft Implementation Plan. Particular attention was given to aligning next steps and priorities.
Country representatives emphasized the importance of reflecting national priorities and ensuring that the Plan is focused on practical and measurable outcomes.
Following the meeting, participants reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening regional dialogue and coordination efforts aimed at enhancing climate resilience in Central Asia.
